USEFUL TIPS

• A 6 yard skip is the maximum size for soil/hardcore due to legal weight restrictions (7.5 tonnes).
• Roll-on containers require large areas and are almost always for commercial sites.
• Only fill the skip to a level load – otherwise the driver might refuse to take an overloaded skip.
• We take a wide range of waste although some are non-permitted such as liquids and those regarded as hazardous, please see the list below. Non-compliant wastes need to be handled differently and will involve an extra cost, please see list of non-permitted waste below.
• Think about where you are putting the skip and whether overhead wires, low branches and manhole covers might pose an access problem.
• Please be aware that traffic at peak periods can have an impact on delivery times.
• If we can’t drop the skip within the grounds of your property then it will be placed at the nearest roadside location. In this case the skip will require lighting and a permit from the local highways, we can manage this process for you. Please call us for any help and advice
